High Kite finds, signs, and produces artists/recordings that we believe to be exceptional, many of them in our in-house project studio.

High Kite is not (or wasn't until now) a "label" ... we were just an independent production company in the business of recording music and "shopping" songs and services ... until we discovered max3, that is ...

max3 lets us:

• promote and sell our music off our our own website and other sites we manage (e.g. myspace.com)

Not only can we promote and sell all the artists in our catalog, but we can also easily link-to/mange sales of other artists that we like from the max3 library, using secure d-links that we associate/link to our account, (that we can "copy/paste" and promote wherever) and make a commission on those sales ... all with no contracts, fees, or fuss ... max3 handling everything -- i.e. those artists get paid directly ... in turn, we earn a percentage of sales for helping promote them!

We don't need to write complicated software code or manage any server hardware ... plus, max3 lets us monitor all GLOBAL ACTIVITY and track all sales in our one max3 account. Pretty slick!

Furthermore, the max3 system tracks all digital downloads/sales from ANY OTHER DISTRIBUTOR SITE LINKING OUR max3s WORLDWIDE completely transparently (we see it all). 

What this means:  

in essence, with max3, anyone can  "replicate" our content/roster and instantly become an extension of our site/delivery/platform without us even having to lift a finger, negotiate a licensing deal, or compute a licensing fee ... (because to license our catalog, all that anyone has to do is "copy/paste" the max3 linking mechanism -- the license is automatically handled during registration by the system) ... and then those people or businesses make money too (selling OUR stuff!) ... which suits us just fine ...

What's more, every artist/musician/producer/songwriter member of any High Kite project can check his/her royalties/earnings status at any time ... and dig this ... with max3 we keep 100% control of all our copyrights! (So we can still cut deals with other online sites that we like and trust.)

Bottom line: we're blown away ...

In essence, the max3 tools lets people "share" our content (what do we care!? we're getting paid!) earn rewards, and lets them AND us propagate the coolest system of promoting music on the planet! Now that's what we call a win/win!
